After relocating to Texas, she began working professionally as a birth support specialist. She also provides lactation support and education alongside her birth support services. She has real life experience, having nursed 4 of her children along with being trained as a lactation counselor. With over 15 years of experience of supporting mothers during birth, her expertise and passion for birthing mothers led her to midwifery. She is currently an advanced student midwife training through Ancient Arts Midwifery Institute along with apprenticing / training at The Natural Birthing Center in Salado, and will be providing midwifery services in the future once she licensed.  Last, but not least, she believes in both the power of prayer & chocolate….and tons of each!

Jacklyn (a.k.a “Jac”) is a wife, mother of 1, and placenta encapsulation specialist. Her desire to help others has set the foundation for her present work. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.”
